As part of the retail HUB dedicated to easyJet you will play an integral part of this delivery.
This exciting key role in the company’s procurement team will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and category management for?accountable categories. The focus being the end to?end product?selection sourcing processes through developing clear category management strategies to maximise value. The?emphasis is on buying the right products to fit the longer-term needs of our customers and the business whilst achieving total cost solutions rather than a simple quick, price?focused fit.
You will be responsible for supporting the senior team in the delivery of the overall procurement business strategy. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the accountable category strategies, negotiating terms and business plans with suppliers as well as management of suppliers in terms of regular business and performance reviews, continuous?improvement initiatives, forecasts/re-forecasts and ongoing relationship development.
You will be an integral part of a busy team with experience of foodservice, manufacturing and or food production. You will have an analytical and methodical approach, have the ability to lead and motivate with strong communication, interpersonal and presentational skills.
Ensuring compliance to legislative, customer and company standards is paramount. You will maintain best practice and review and monitor processes and action changes as necessary.
You will pride yourself on delivering our world famous 5* customer service, investigating issues when needed, and maintaining and developing relationships with our customers.
You will be a self-motivated, consistently professional individual who works well in a fast-paced environment and take pride in all you do. You strive to exceed your internal and external customers’ expectations and have a high level of attention to detail, alongside a methodical and logical approach to work.
We will accept candidates from across the UK with a preference for either London or Manchester based.
