Role Description

Local HR Services Denmark delivers HR Services where unique country support is required. We deliver consistent, standardized, and scalable HR services to our employees. We are combining local labor knowledge and have a deep process understanding, we are supporting an efficient and compliant HR service delivery to our customers and partners. We run crucial pre-payroll processes which are mission critical for business continuity. We are biased towards execution but also partner in global projects and continuous improvement initiatives across all HR.

The Nordic Local HR Services Senior Consultant is responsible to provide and resolve employee and manager queries, consult employees and carry-out operational HR administrative tasks across the whole employee life cycle (from onboarding, contractual changes, pre-payroll support to the termination process). In addition, the consultant will closely team up with the local HR Business Partner team, works closely with Payroll and colleagues from other supporting functions as well as with the local business units. 

Key Responsibilities:Your will be tasked to ensure smooth HR Operations and the delivery of mission critical Pre-Payroll Input under a tight deadline regime (support of other Nordic and Baltic countries might be required).You will be the second level support for any kind of HR inquiries coming from local employees and managers in accordance with our Service Level Agreements.You will onboard new hires and support the related administrative processes as well as support contractual changes, support benefits- and termination administration cases.You will be asked to promote our standard intake channels to interact with HR (the HR Operational Model) and support local HR communication activities around that.You will partner closely with all other HR functions locally and globally e.g. the HR Business Partners (HRBP) and HR Center of Excellences (CoE) to solve issues and to deliver for example on Post Merger Integration projects and service improvements.You will need to be open to strive for constant feedback from our customers to identify opportunities for improvement, captures knowledge in our internal Knowledge Base and will be responsible for maintaining our Local Portal Pages.You will need to build reliable relationships with all HR Global Service Delivery functions, CoEs teams, HRBPs, and other HR departments to facilitate the delivery of our Services. You will need to collaborate and interact with vendors and governmental Institutions and ensure that we have identified and execute the most efficient, compliant and effective process.

Education and qualifications / Skills and competencies:Business Degree preferredKnowledge of Danish legislation is a must, proficiency in one additional legislation in the Nordic region is a plusGood knowledge of payroll processes and pre-payroll reporting requirementsExperience in administrating HR processesQuality driven, analytical, and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy with an attention to the detailsAble to accept and embrace continuous changes and improvement. Able and willing to adapt new learnings and tools Able to plan, work, drive and own initiatives and independently execute them without supervisionAbility to work in a truly international team where team members are located in different locations and belong to different culturesExperienced to work with confidential informationExcellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Professional communication skills; both written and spoken in English and Danish are mandatory and essential

Work experience:+6 years of work experience in a comparable HR roleStrong Customer service attitudeBackground in payroll practices and Danish Legislation and Labor lawPrevious work experience in an HR Shared Service environment Experience working in a multinational context, team, and company

Desirable:SAP HR system knowledgeExperience in working in a virtual teamProject Management Experience is a plus
