Our Strategic Network Planners are responsible for network planning of designated regions and more complex network planning assignments within, and sometimes outside, the regions. You will also be involved and contribute to the development of the planning unit’s method and work processes.
In your work, you will be responsible for developing the best technical and economical network solution. The solution must be developed from a holistic perspective and take care of future development of the region and the local area. As a Network Planner, you are responsible for developing a HLD (High Level Design) as well as the associated financial calculation and also providing so-called uplinks for the relevant areas. You will have overall responsibility for the network solution and the work may involve preparing work documents and instructions and, to a certain extent, leading delivery work. When required, do you also perform a cost follow-up?
An essential part of the work as a strategic Network Planner is also to act as a bridge between the technology and sales side. In your role, you will keep an overview of the network planning work in order to be able to plan in the best way, based on geography with regard to nearby areas and its possibilities.
We are looking for you who are social, flexible and service-oriented. As a person, you are structured, planning and you thrive in an eventful environment. You have knowledge and understanding of how to build access fiber networks and a good understanding of transport fiber networks. You should have previously worked with financial calculations and have a habit of drawing conclusions from different sources. We also believe that you are generally very confident in your technical background.
In the strategic work with the development of the company’s methods and processes, we believe that you thrive best in a solution-oriented environment. You are also comfortable helping in the project itself when needed and also being the one who controls and follows up. You should be structured in thought as well as in action. Education in network planning and / or design is a merit, but not a requirement.
