Do you want to work as an HR Partner at Willys, the most successful grocery chain?
Are you looking for new challenges and have experience of broad HR work? Are you a results- and service-oriented person who wants to be part of a committed team while enjoying working independently? Then we have the service for you!
Willys is a concept- and chain-driven company and in the role of HR Partner you are responsible for supporting a number of regional managers and the stores that are part of the region with HR issues. You work extensively with all existing HR issues, such as recruitment of store managers, work environment and health, skills development and replacement planning as well as some system support. You will run projects in your specialist area and also participate in development projects in other HR areas.
You report to the HR manager and belong to the HR department at Willy’s support office in Gothenburg and have colleagues in Stockholm and Kalmar. You also work in close collaboration with Axfood’s HR organization and the Axfood Academy. But the biggest collaboration is probably with the regional managers that you are set to support and work closely with.
We are looking for you who are used to combining operational HR work with running strategic projects. As a person, you need to be driven and independent and good at building relationships in an expansive and fast-paced environment. All HR Partners have a specialist area for which they drive development and are responsible. You run and develop the specialist area within Willys based on our strategies and in close collaboration with Axfood.
Willys is a nationwide chain and you have your employment at Willys based in Stockholm. The service involves travel, mainly to the stores that are part of your regions, which are Stockholm and Norrland, but also continuous travel to the support office in Gothenburg.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have an academic degree in personnel science or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in broad HR work. You are used to running development projects yourself. You have a good negotiation habit, knowledge of the retail agreement is an advantage but not a requirement. You are driven to see the profitability of the business and HR’s role in this. You are good at planning and structuring your work and achieving results.
As a person, you are driven and independent and can handle both strategic and operational issues. You are communicative and responsive and have a good ability to build long-term relationships. We are happy to see that you are curious and enterprising and have good insight into the priorities required to create results and achieve set goals. That you enjoy working with people and always put the customer’s best in the center is a matter of course.

For over 40 years, we have helped to put good food on more dinner tables through our business concept: Sweden’s cheapest lunch bag. Something that permeates everything we do. Today we have more than 215 stores from Kalix in the north to Trelleborg in the south and in 2020 we had sales of over 31 billion. Together with Hemköp, Mat.se and Dagab, among others, we are part of Axfood – one of the largest companies in the Swedish grocery trade. With us, there is plenty of opportunity to grow and develop.
