Quality manager for Mälarbanan, Sundbyberg – Solna, Sweden

As a Quality Manager for the Mälarbanan Sundbyberg – Solna at the Swedish Transport Administration, you are involved and make everyday life easier for residents and entrepreneurs throughout Sweden. You do this by being involved and contributing to the infrastructure of the future.

We are now looking for a Quality Officer for our office in central Sundbyberg.

The Mälar line is an important part of the railway network and connects Örebro, Västerås and Enköping with Stockholm. The Mälar line is also part of Stockholm’s local commuter train network. The Mälarbanan program comprises an approximately 20-kilometer-long railway section between Tomteboda and Kallhäll in northwest Stockholm and is one of the country’s busiest. On this stretch, we are now expanding from two to four tracks.

The Sundbyberg-Solna project unit consists of tunnels, bridges, stations and pipelines with a budget of approximately SEK 6 billion. Central to the unit is the Line Support staff, which supports all parts of the project unit regarding quality, environment, work environment, digital project management, requirements management and administration. As a Quality Manager, you are part of the Line Support staff and work closely with the project manager Line Support and quality specialist. As a Quality Manager, you participate in the development of working methods, processes and templates in the unit and carry out follow-up that these are complied with. The responsibility includes being the contact person for quality issues with the supplier as well as follow-up of internal and external control programs and control plans.

You will participate in the development and implementation of new digital working methods in production linked to quality follow-up and will participate in meetings internally and externally with suppliers.

Who are you?

To succeed in the role of Quality Manager, you have a good ability to work together and are a relationship builder who contributes to effective teams. You will work in close collaboration with an entrepreneur where openness and transparency are important cornerstones as well as a non-prestigious and flexible approach. The position also means that you work in a structured way where you switch between planning and running work and independently perform delegated tasks.

We are looking for you as
have a university or college education of at least 180 credits (120 credits) in an area relevant to the position or other education and experience that we consider equivalent
has a few years’ current experience of complex construction and civil engineering projects with tasks in the quality area
good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
It is an advantage if you
has experience of quality work in construction or civil engineering projects in the production phase
has good knowledge of contract law; ABK09, AB04 ABT06
In this recruitment, web-based tests are used as part of the selection. Interviews are scheduled to take place via Skype on February 15 and February 17.
