As a business developer, you will provide support to the authority’s management with decision material in matters concerning the authority’s management, governance and internal governance and control. You will produce data for the development of the agency’s governance model, long-term goals and strategic planning, as well as data for the development of systems for internal governance and control.
In the service, you will also carry out analyzes and investigations that can provide follow-up and evaluative information about all or parts of the business’s results and effects. Furthermore, you will work to coordinate the authority’s management processes, ie. coordination of long-term planning, follow-up and evaluation of operations and finances. You will also participate in and sometimes lead projects that involve changes in your area. The work also includes conducting an analysis of the surrounding world in the subject area and following developments both nationally and internationally and assessing the need for action within the authority. Organizationally, you will belong to the unit DG’s staff within Management Support. Travel within the country occurs in the service.
We are looking for you who have an academic education that is relevant to the position, such as economics or political science. If you have training in change management, it is an advantage. We are looking for you who have many years of documented experience as a business developer at an inter-agency level. It is an advantage if you have worked with change management in the government sector. It is also a merit with knowledge from an IT organization. You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing as well as good knowledge of MS Office.
To thrive in the role of business developer, it is important that you can drive change work and see new perspectives and solutions to the problems that arise. You are used to setting high goals and working hard to achieve them. You have the ability to develop plans in both the short and long term and anticipate problems and develop alternative plans for these. We are looking for you who are good at communicating, both orally and in writing. To fit the role, it is also important that you are good at building relationships with others and creating motivation in others to perform to achieve set goals. The business is of such a nature that it is important that you have a high level of integrity.
FRA is a civilian authority with about 900 employees under the Ministry of Defense. Through intelligence activities, where signal reconnaissance is conducted, the FRA provides support for the Government’s foreign, security and defense policy in the short and long term. This is also done through our work to create conditions for a cyber defense and to contribute to protecting socially important information systems.

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes by bus from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA means placement in security class. A requirement for obtaining employment is an approved security check with register control. The security test will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act.
