The Danish Road Directorate is looking for a project employee to support large infrastructure projects in Denmark

Do you want to help support the processes surrounding the implementation of the government’s new infrastructure agreement? Do you want to help give the green transition a boost? Then it may be you we are looking for as a project employee for the Danish Road Directorate in Skanderborg.

“You get a rewarding position on several levels with us. Firstly, you want to help push for the green transition in the form of securing space for the construction of cycle paths and charging stations. Secondly, we are very interested in developing you professionally both through peer training and relevant courses, ”  says Hanne Øster, head of the Area Acquisition department.

The Danish Road Directorate is facing the realization of a comprehensive infrastructure plan that will last for many years. It includes both major motorway projects and the construction of cycle paths, charging stations, noise barriers and roundabouts. For that, we must acquire land and rights through expropriation and voluntary agreements.

You will be given many varied tasks such as contact with citizens, preparation of map sections, arranging citizen and landowner meetings as well as inspection and expropriation business. You will also perform administrative tasks such as archiving and obtaining property information from e.g. OIS, Tingbogen and CVR.

The work is project-oriented with close contact to project employees from other departments, but you are also part of the professional department within land and rights acquisition. You will be part of a strong team together with the other project employees who are associated with both large and small construction projects.

You should expect travel activity to a lesser extent as we solve tasks throughout the country.

Flair for technique and good sense of order
You have an education as a technical designer, office assistant, map and surveying technician or similar. You may have previous experience from a privately practicing land surveying company, a consulting company, a municipality within Technology & Environment or you have an interest or flair for the technical area.

You can be a recent graduate or have many years of experience behind you – we adapt tasks and responsibilities to your current point of view.

It will be an advantage if you have knowledge of cadastral work and / or land and rights acquisition, but it is not a requirement.

We expect you to be good at communicating orally and in writing with citizens, colleagues and partners and have a good sense of order and are service-minded. It will be an advantage if you have a flair for IT and possibly practical experience with using GIS.

Welcome to Land Acquisition – your new workplace
“In land acquisition, we want to make sure that you fall well into place in the new role. Therefore, we prioritize that you get a thorough introduction through our welcome program, a series of start-up meetings with your closest colleagues and a mentor who will be there for you in the first time, “  concludes Hanne Øster, Head of Area Acquisition.

In the Danish Road Directorate, you do not succeed alone, but create solutions together with others. We do each other good – this applies both in relation to our management, our colleagues and other departments in the Danish Road Directorate, with which we collaborate daily.

Land acquisition is a department with 26 employees with strong competencies within land and rights acquisition.

The department has five employees at the Danish Road Directorate’s office in Fløng near Roskilde, while 20 work from the office in Skanderborg and a single employee works from the office in Middelfart.

Your salary and terms of employment
