We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the brigade at Nuno Mendes new West End opening.

This is an incredible opportunity for the right Sous Chef looking to develop their skillset and to be part of London’s most exciting new opening. With team members from all backgrounds, we share in our approach to deliver fantastic hospitality and service in a relaxed and nurturing environment.

The Restaurant

Much loved Portuguese chef and restaurateur, Nuno Mendes, will open an exciting new restaurant in early 2022. The concept is inspired by the city Nuno grew up in, with a menu offering that draws on Lisbon’s rich culinary heritage, and an exclusive wine list that champions regions across Portugal. Located in central Fitzrovia, the restaurant is inspired by the convivial atmosphere of traditional Portuguese restaurants, evolved to celebrate the dining culture at the heart of Lisbon today. The new restaurant will launch in collaboration with respected hospitality group, MJMK, who opened the critically acclaimed KOL, with Chef Patron Santiago Lastra, in 2020.

What this job will do – Sous Chef

· A good understanding of day to day running of a kitchen

· Experience in supervising other chefs

· A passion for high quality food and the hospitality industry

· Existing Sous Chef with sound experience

· Must have right to work in UK
